Name: Michael Dougan
Centre: TPS Glasgow North East
Job Role: Apprentice
Key responsibilities: Providing a high level of customer service at all times, understanding customer requirements, achieving the highest possible customer satisfaction scores for the Centre, responding to customer requests face-to-face and on the phone and applying technical knowledge to provide expert advice.

Name: Dan Corber
Centre: TPS Exeter
Job Role:
Warehouse Manager
Key responsibilities: Providing a high level of service to customers by managing the handling and timely delivery of stock, and working with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Recognised for: TPS Warehouse Manager of the Year

Key responsibilities: Building strong working relationships with customers, providing high level of customer service, handling incoming calls and customer enquiries and identifying parts to meet customer sales requirements.
Recognised for: TPS Parts Sales Executive of the Year
Quote: “It was a great feeling to win the award. I am a PSE but have recently been filling in as the Centre manager, Sales Manager and Administrator. They are all different roles but with a common purpose of delivering the best possible service to our customers, which is what I enjoy most about them.”


Name: Sheri Peach

Job Role: Operations Support Manager
Key responsibilities: Management and development of all TPS support systems, maintaining and developing the quality environment embedded across TPS via Brand Standards audits and providing operational support to TPS Centres.
Recognised for: TPS Head Office Member of the Year

Job Role: Warehouse Operative Key responsibilities: Ensuring the efficient and effective control of warehouse parts stock to support the provision of excellent service to customers.
Recognised for: TPS Warehouse Operative of the Year
Quote: “When I got told I had won the Warehouse Operative of the year I felt over the moon. Keeping TPS customers satisfied and making sure they get quick and efficient deliveries is my main priority, so I am truly grateful that the award recognises that commitment to customer service.”

Job Role: Sales Manager Key responsibilities: Lead, manage and motivate the Parts Sales Executives team and develop strong relationships with customers by providing expert knowledge and an exceptional customer service experience.

Job role: Centre Manager
Key responsibilities include: Lead, manage and motivate the TPS Centre team to an agreed business plan and provide excellent customer service.
Recognised for: TPS Centre Manager of the Year
Quote: “I was shocked to find out I had won it. It’s great to be recognised with the award, however praise must go to the team as it’s a real team effort at the centre. We always maintain a positive attitude and look to help and support customers and as a result they support us back, which creates a mutual respect between all of us.”

Centre: TPS Region 2
Job Role: Regional Sales Manager
Key responsibilities: Oversee operations for a number of TPS Centres within a specified Regional group, provide ongoing support, set an agreed business plan to support the provision of exceptional customer service and motivate Centres to achieve this.
Recognised for: TPS Field Team member of the Year
Quote: “It was a great way to end a very difficult year and very humbling to be recognised by my teammates and centre managers. It’s been a challenging market, but through the collaborative approach of our regional team and the great work of our centres, we have been able to keep open for our customers throughout 2020. We have delivered great customer service, and this has been achieved in part by sharing best practice from all the centres. This has helped to ensure the customer journey from the initial call to the delivery of the customers part has been seamless.”

Centre: TPS Birmingham
Job role: Van Sales Driver
Key responsibilities: Deliver parts to customers often multiple times per day, take time to get to know the optimum delivery routes and provide an excellent customer service every time.
Recognised for: TPS Van Sales Driver of the Year
Quote: “I didn’t know that I had been nominated for the award, so when my centre manager phoned me to tell me that I had won, it was a pleasant surprise. I enjoy my job and I worked throughout the lockdowns, which has been good as I have been able to get out and about and see and support our customers each day. I have a good rapport with the customers and it’s important to do the best you can for them. It’s what the job is all about.”
