Keeping you up to date to keep you moving
Here is an update on all the changes to TPS’ operational activity during these unprecedented and difficult times. We want to keep all those who are needed on the frontline moving without risking the safety of our staff.
TPS understand businesses like yourselves are relying on our ability to provide parts and expertise at speed and at scale, so we are working hard to keep TPS Centres running, safely and responsibly.
We have changed our opening hours in response to maintain the same service as before without compromising on the safety of our staff. TPS Centres will now be open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday.
Whilst we continue to trade, you will find the front counter across all TPS Centres closed until further notice, this is to adhere to the social distancing advice outlined from the Government. However, exceptions have been made for AA collections.
There is now an option to request contact-free delivery and this can be made easily over the phone when placing your order. There is an online form to be completed as part of the process.
To reduce contact further, any transactions for those who do not hold a credit account will be completed by an advanced card payment. This is in a move to prevent the handling of cash and cheques.
TPS will no longer set-up any new accounts until further notice, as the current customer base is the top priority. In the event where stock and supply becomes limited, certain frontline services will take precedence, those included are: Blue Light, AA Patrols, Government Agency and their key worker support vehicles.
All calls to TPS will now be redirected to a single queue. If anyone encounters any difficulty, there is an option to complete a ‘Call Back’ form and TPS will be back in touch as soon as possible. This development comes from calls being answered at a national level, however, this should not impact delivery as all orders will continue to be placed to the nearest operational TPS Centre.
In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and let’s keep working together to keep the nation moving.
